About
I'm drawn to products where urgency and dense information collide, and where interaction design can restore a sense of control. Based in Moncton, NB, open to remote or relocating. Looking to own problems end-to-end at a company building things that matter.

Finding my path
I grew up building LEGOs and watching Mythbusters, everyone assumed I'd be an engineer. A high school graphic design elective changed that. I realized I was drawn to making beautiful things that solve real problems, where design is both art and science.
I studied Industrial Design at OCAD University, where I learned to zoom out to systems and zoom in to details. Since then, I've designed across AI, biotech, e-commerce, cybersecurity, aviation, and healthcare. Most recently at Porter Airlines, I redesigned their most-used customer-facing flows, serving over a million monthly users.
My approach
I work end-to-end because connecting intent to execution is where the best outcomes come from. In practice, that means I start with constraints, what's the system, who's affected, what are we trading off, then work inward toward the details that make something feel clear and trustworthy.
I like when research reveals something counterintuitive, and I like building the system that makes the next designer faster. I'm most energized by work that moves the world forward in meaningful, measurable ways.
Extras
My top CliftonStrengths are relator, ideation, competition, learner, and self-assurance.

I play chess at around 2000 ELO, I like thinking a few moves ahead.
I have a corgi named Jolene!
